LADRILLOS PLUS is a supplementary Spanish controlled-text series designed to support the transition from basic decoding to fluent, comprehension-based reading.
Building on foundational skills, it introduces students to increasingly complex linguistic features—such as multisyllabic words, accentuation patterns, morphology, orthographic conventions, and more complex syntax —within carefully controlled, authentic texts.
Aligned with the Science of Reading and biliteracy research, Ladrillos PLUS helps students develop fluency, vocabulary, and comprehensions while preparing them for grade-level academic reading in Spanish.
Nivel 1 - Sílabas y morfología (7 libros)
Focuses on foundational syllable patterns and basic word and sentence structures. Students practice reading and writing words with simple open and closed syllables while exploring prefixes, suffixes, compound words, abbreviations, and the stressed syllable.

Nivel 2 - Combinaciones de consonantes y vocales (8 libros)
Builds on syllable complexity and vowel combinations. Students work with consonant blends, complex syllables, diphthongs, triphthongs, and hiatuses to strengthen decoding and fluency with more advanced word patterns and sentence structures.
